halloween at the shop

We can’t believe Halloween is over for another year!! At love to celebrate we had so much fun!! On Halloween morning we opened the shop from 11am – 2pm and set up a sweet treat table in front of the shop to raise money for both breast cancer & brain cancer which are causes close to our hearts.

Our resident baker Louise (pictured middle) cooked up a storm in her kitchen the night before preparing wonderful treats such as the bone-shaped meringues, pumpkin cupcakes, whoopie pies and chocolate cookies. 

We also had some wonderful spooky cakes from Kiss Me Cake and delicious cupcakes from My Little Cupcake which we decorated with our Halloween cupcake picks!!

Thank you to everyone who came along to support us.  We appreciate your generosity and support and look forward to seeing you again soon!!

{client celebration} teddy bears’ picnic


We have so many wonderful clients who come to love to celebrate to purchase their party accessories.  Some come looking for inspiration not knowing where to start while others come with their checklist  in hand and a well laid out plan to orchestrate a wonderful celebration.

Recently a delightful and very talented mum called Lara came to us with her shopping list of items for a teddy bears’ picnic which she was organising for her daughter Lily’s second birthday. Lara already had the complete concept in her mind and knew exactly what items she needed to purchase from love to celebrate to create her magical party. The items we were able to help her with included pink & white striped retro paper straws, cupcake baking cups, cupcake stands, recycled glass bottles, balloons, ribbon, candles, plates & cups!!

the more the meri meri


At love to celebrate we are so excited to have just received our new shipment of Meri Meri paper party products.  You may rememeber it wasn’t that long ago that we were “ooohhhing” and “aaaahhhing” over their divine themed centrepieces as well as their cupcake decorating kits.  Now we have invitations, napkins, plates, garlands and lolly bags to match the ballerina, princess, pirates, dinosaurs and animal parade designs.


One of our favourite additions though has to be the 3D Space Cadets Party Pack.  This delightful themed kit will blow your little astronauts away like rockets when they see the robots and spaceships – in REAL 3D!  The pack includes plates, napkins, a themed garland and 12 very cute sets of 3D glasses – they’ll bring the robots and rockets to life!!  You can continue the theme with party bags, a themed cupcake kit and the amazing talking spaceship centrepiece.

Bonjour les amis!! France is celebrating Bastille Day today so we couldn’t let the day pass without paying tribute to one of our favourite countries and to thank them for sharing with us such delights as Champagne, croissants, baguettes, cheese and macaroons (yes, at love to celebrate we are ruled by our stomachs…and tastebuds!!) as well as haute couture, perfume, the Eiffel Tower, Claude Monet and the Tour de France…just to name a few!!

spots and stripes

Well the talented team at Paper Eskimo just keep adding more great products to their range.  We have just received our latest shipment of Paper Eskimo cupcake baking cups and we are so excited!!

There are two brand new additions: black & white stripes AND white with black polka dots. You know how we LOVE polka dots!!  We have already teamed them both up with our current World Cup window and they look fantastic.  The black & white striped ones remind us of the shirts the referees use to wear before they adopted those awful fluro ones!!

The colours of the lastest batch of Paper Eskimo cupcake baking cups are slightly more vibrant than previous batches but they still co-ordinate perfectly with Paper Eskimo’s extensive range of invitations, lolly bags and party accessories. There has also been a slight change made to the blue polka dot baking cups – previously they were pale blue with dark blue spots but now they are pale blue with white spots. Very sweet!!

Stayed tuned for more exciting additions to the Paper Eskimo range.  Next month the team is set to release their new plate, cup and napkin designs!!  We can’t wait to see them!!

love to celebrate is extremely proud to be one of the first stores in Australia to stock the beautiful Meri Meri range of paper party products.  This award winning paper design company which is based in San Francisco, USA and the Cotswolds, UK creates AMAZING table centrepieces, cupcake kits, party bags, and garlands.

Our two favourite table centrepieces are the Rooarrrr! Dinosaur and the 3D Robot.  These cardboard centrepieces are easy to assemble and have a “push” button which activates sound!!  Other centrepieces include a pirate ship, princess castle, ballerina concert stage and an animal carousel.

We also LOVE the attention to detail on the cupcake toppers, garlands and party bags.  The Ballerinas are wearing tulle tutus and the Hulla dancers are wearing grass skirts!!


More items in the range including invitations, plates and napkins will be available soon!!

We have just received our new delivery of the very latest products from Paper Eskimo.  We LOVE all the new additions to the range including new invitation designs for the slightly older kids, all the extra accessories such as printed balloons, candles, polka dot lolly bags (yes we LOVE polka dots!), table runners and the great range of invitation pads.

The new baking cups are FANTASTIC!!  Paper Eskimo has worked so hard to bring this product to the consumer and they should be congratulated on doing such a great job. These beautiful and bright baking cups go into the oven looking gorgeous and come out looking  just as fabulous.  They are also great for making jelly cups and ice cream sundaes in.
